 What are you reading currently?
I am reading my first M.A. related books....Citizens and Queen of Fashion at the moment. I am also to dip into Trianon and Madame Royale soon. Is anyone else reading any of these, as well? I would like to start a thread if so. If you are not reading those, what book(s) are you reading?

I am reading "la princesse de Lamballe intime" by Dr Cabanes. An ancient and rare book. I am very happy I found it !

Now I've also started Madame Royale, Marie Antoinette by Desmond Seward and Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette before the revolution by Webster.

I have just started What Marie Antoinette wore to the revolution, which, if the introduction is anything to go by should be a really good read.
I'm also picking my way through A French King at Holyrood by AJ Mackenzie-Stuart, which is a book about Artois' stay in Edinburgh.
And I am enjoying Walter Moers 13 1/2 lives of Captain Bluebear which has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Marie Antoinette but is wonderfully insane and entertaining.

Marie Antoinette, The Journey just arrived in the mail today I'm really enjoying Webster the most at the moment, the writing flows well, still with some detail.

I haven't read this book by Nesta Webster, only "Marie Antoinette intime". This one is a fascinating book, so sensible, so clever (except for Mme de Polignac). How is that possible that such an intelligent book was written so long ago, and that people forgot about the analyses developped in it to focuse on Zweig's mistakes only !
